Our Current Donation Needs

Accessories, Handbags, & Jewelry
Clothes – clean, odor-free, gently-used (all ages/sizes)
Shoes – clean, odor-free, gently-used (all kinds)
Housewares, Glassware, & Decor (no bedding pillows or used linens)
Toys & Games (no stuffed animals)
DVDs, Video Games
Tools (nothing gas powered)
Working Small Electronics (no tube TVs)
Furniture (no baby beds or car seats)

Have you ever wondered when you make a donation of items at the back of the store, what does the process look like after that? 🤔

We will take you along over the next few days to learn about some areas in our backroom. This process from the back dock to the sales floor is SO important to ensure we keep a clean and organized environment for our goal of being upscale thrift. We also want to make sure you are getting great finds at great deals! And the best part?! ALL proceeds benefit the Licking County Humane Society. 🐾

You may have seen Sue at the front of the store ringing your purchase out before you leave. Sue also helps in the back! She is one of our jewelry experts who works on this section of the store. All donated jewelry is sorted, priced, and stocked on a weekly basis. We stock them on new cardboard tags, and if it’s earrings they all get new plastic backings. Jewelry is one of the customer favorites when shopping. So if you have any you no longer wear, please think of donating to us! 📿 🎀💍

We’d like to start recognizing our amazing volunteers who help make Sophie’s great! 🎉 Meet Sally Miller, a Sophie’s volunteer who comes in on Saturday mornings. She knows how to do tagging, steaming, organizing, and stocking of the clothes. Sally is basically our Energizer Bunny...she keeps going and going until the job is done.
