LCHS has been invited to Swasey Chapel at Denison University by the Denison Suzuki Program. Following the philosophical principles and education methods of S. Suzuki, this program offers musical instruction for all ages in Cello, Flute, Piano, Violin, and Viola. These students have been practicing their instruments at home every day from Valentine’s Day until St. Patrick’s Day in preparation for this Showcase Concert. During that time frame, they have also been collecting donations for LCHS, so the Denison Suzuki program has invited LCHS to be present so the kids can interact with some of the animals and people they have been helping to support.
