Emily came to work at Licking County Humane Society on July 3rd, 2018, as an Animal Caregiver. She wanted to be more involved with animal rescue after a decade spent at a desk during her career in digital technology and project management.
Emily has seven rescue pets at home and loves learning about animal behavior and training. She is a voracious reader and likes to explore new subjects, especially about science and philosophy. Emily loves pinball and board games, and she is on the path to ordination in the Rinzai Zen tradition. Her mission in life is to teach compassion for all sentient beings.
