Volunteer & Community Outreach Coordinator

Laurinda Johnson

Laurinda started her journey at LCHS in 2015 as a volunteer and kitten foster parent. A year later, she was hired as an Animal Care Giver. On September 1, 2016, Laurinda was promoted to the role of Adoption Counselor. On September 18, 2017, Laurinda was promoted again to the role of Volunteer & Community Outreach Coordinator. Laurinda has a Bachelor’s of Arts in English Literature, so naturally she loves writing and reading in her spare time. She also enjoys the outdoors, horseback riding, kayaking, and camping. She is a vegetarian and the proud mom of 2 cats! What she likes most about working at LCHS is experiencing the positive impact LCHS makes in the lives of animals and people every single day.
